The corporate and commercial team advises on Jersey and Guernsey law in relation to high profile international and local corporate finance transactions. These include M&As in the trust company, fund management and banking sectors of the finance industry, and acquisitions and disposals, mergers and joint ventures involving local trading companies or Channel Islands-based holding companies of international groups. Since the mid-90s we have advised on many Jersey and Guernsey company listings on both AIM and the London Stock Exchange.
We have recently advised a number of local trust companies on complex internal shareholder restructurings to address succession planning, leavers and shareholder disputes.
