Edward is an experienced commercial litigator who joined the firm in 2008 from Maples and Calder. Edward has appeared before the High Court in England, the Grand Court in the Cayman Islands and the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands) as a solicitor-advocate and attorney-at-law. Having obtained an MA in Jurisprudence at Oxford University he began his career at Norton Rose LLP in London as a solicitor-advocate before moving to the Cayman Islands office of Maples and Calder to practice Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands law.
Edward has extensive experience of commercial litigation and contentious insolvency, acting for financial institutions, insolvency office-holders, hedge funds, insurance companies (and insureds) and other entities, both onshore and offshore.
Edward was sworn in as Jersey Advocate in October 2011. He is named as an "associate to watch" by Chambers 2013 directory.
