Lisa advises trustees and beneficiaries in contentious and non contentious applications to the Royal Court, including applications to vary or rectify trusts, prosecuting or defending breach of trust claims, acting to resolve beneficiary disputes, andenforcement of beneficiary information rights. She has considerable experience on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in relation to obtaining or challenging freezing orders and orders for disclosure ofinformation and the provision of assistance to foreign courts in the taking of evidence. She also advises plaintiffs and defendants in medical negligence and personal injury claims. Lisa gained considerable advocacy experience in the following areas before coming to Jersey in 1993: medical appeal, tribunals, employment tribunals and criminal cases.
