Alan has more than 25 years experience in the offshore industry. He acts extensively in establishing and advising upon Jersey trusts for high-net worth and high profile individuals and works with leading law firms and trust companies on international and estate planning issues for such clients.
Alan is a member of the working party which reviewed the Trusts (Jersey) Law, 1984 resulting in the first major amendments since that law came into force. He is also a member of the proposed Foundations Law working party.
According to Chambers Research Alan has been described by a client as being "the cleverest trust lawyer on the Island - he's extremely good".
