Bedell Group has been ranked in a prestigious league table of best professional firms to work for in the UK. Compiled by the Managing Partner Forum (MPF) from the ‘Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For’ listing, the placings are based on five key categories – personal growth, giving back, belonging, wellbeing and leadership.

Up against a broad range of professional firms – from accountants and architects to engineers and management consultants – Bedell Group was one of an exclusive group of law firms to make the grade. It was also the only firm with its head office in the Channel Islands that was placed in any category.

The Managing Partners’ Forum, formed in 1995, is the premier association for those involved in the management of professional firms. The league table was based on a rigorous independent survey of employees’ workplace experiences. Around 90% of the ranking is decided from staff feedback, with criteria including stress levels, pay and opportunities to learn.

Professional firms applied for Best Companies accreditation in late 2007. The MPF100 is ranked by Best Companies score, with sector, HQ location, fees and headcount also provided. Adjustments were made to the scores according to organisation size to recognise that there are different issues for firms of different sizes.
