The Corporate Finance group regularly advises on Jersey, Guernsey and British Virgin Islands law in relation to high profile international and local corporate finance transactions, including M & A activity in the trust company, fund management and banking sectors of the finance industry, as well as acquisitions and disposals, mergers and joint venture arrangements involving local trading companies or Jersey and Guernsey holding companies of international groups.
We are able to field lawyers (individuals and teams), always led by a readily accessible partner, with significant experience and expertise and to call upon colleagues in the firm specialising in employment law, property law, pensions, taxation, trusts and BVI law, when required.
We enjoy very strong links with the leading UK and US law firms which results in a steady inflow of major cross-border transactions with a Channel Islands' element.
Since the mid-nineties we have advised in relation to many transactions involving the listing of Jersey and Guernsey companies on both AIM and the London Stock Exchange.
